Ke Su Thar, a visual artist and novelist, was born in 1965, in Aung Lan, a small town of Burma (Myanmar). His parents were so poor that they could not afford to school him. Hence his formal education ended early in his childhood, in primary level. However, he never gave up learning. He taught and groomed himself.

He has taken part in some group shows and exhibited his first solo show Nothing Can Exist Alone at Lokanat Gallery in 2012. His analytical essays on Conceptual Sentences appeared in Atway Amyin magazine and his essays on Minimal Art appeared in Hlaing Thit magazine.

He has written some short stories and three novels-Karzu, Forgotten Biography and His Day-all in Burmese. His sort stories have appeared in some magazine. His debut novel The Film was published by Austin Macauley Publishers in England in 2019. He lives in Yangon with his elder sister family.
