Thurein

 

Born: In 1974 (Taungyi, Shan State, Myanmar).

Thurein, painter and photographer enjoy exploring everything himself. He studied arts outside schools through books and people who he gets inspired. He likes to keep looking for new things and experimenting with different medium. He is one of a very few artists in Myanmar who has been creating abstract art constantly. He has done 7 solo exhibitions locally and participated in more 40 group exhibitions locally and internationally Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Korea and USA.
